In MATLAB, you can add an element to a hash using the containers.Map function. Here's an example code:

% create a hash using containers.Map
myhash = containers.Map();
% add an element to the hash
myhash('key1') = 10;
% display the hash
myhash

In the above code, we create a hash named myhash using the containers.Map() function. We then add an element to the hash using the syntax myhash('key1') = 10. Here, we associate the value 10 with the key 'key1'. Finally, we display the hash using the myhash variable.

You can also add multiple elements to the hash by making use of a loop:

% create a hash using containers.Map
myhash = containers.Map();
% add multiple elements to the hash using a loop
for i = 1:5
    myhash(['key' num2str(i)]) = i*10;
end
% display the hash
myhash

In the above code, we create a hash named myhash using the containers.Map() function. We then add 5 elements to the hash using a loop. Each element is associated with a key in the form 'key1', 'key2', and so on. Finally, we display the hash using the myhash variable.
